Who is actually behind SNOOZYCAT®?
In short: a family, a lot of ideas, and a cat with very clear expectations.
SNOOZYCAT® is our family project. We develop products for cats because we want to know exactly what our pets are getting – whether it's in a toy pillow, on their favorite spot, or in their daily care.
We are aided in this by our experience with plant-based raw materials, natural ingredients, and nutritional supplements. But instead of turning that into a science for the packaging, we are primarily interested in one simple question:
Does this product make sense?
If it does, we look further. Which materials fit best? Which herbs do we want to use? How can it be used practically? And can we make anything even better?
This is how SNOOZYCAT® creates, among other things, herb pads and cat toys with valerian, catnip, lavender, and silvervine, cozy sleeping and lounging spots for cats, as well as select products for cat care and everyday life.
We develop and produce everything ourselves. Sometimes that also means: trying things out, changing them, trying them again, and occasionally realizing that an idea was better on paper than in reality. That's part of the process.
And who is Bobbel?
And who is Bobbel?
Bobbel is actually named Kira.
Why she is called Bobbel can probably only be reconstructed within the family. In any case, the name now belongs to her just as much as her title as Chief Happiness Officer of SNOOZYCAT®.
She is not a cat purchased from some stock archive for a product photo. She lives here, sleeps here, likes to sit right where someone is trying to work,
and is the first to see our product ideas and prototypes.
Her testing methods are pleasantly uncomplicated: use it, ignore it, or demonstratively sleep on it.
The result is usually quite clear.
What is important to us regarding our cat products
We do not want a range with hundreds of items just because a cat fits on them somewhere.
Instead, we develop products for which we see a real benefit and for whose materials, ingredients, and workmanship we can take a close look ourselves.
Because in the end, the decisive question is quite simple:
Would we give this to our own cats, too?
If the answer is no, then it does not belong at SNOOZYCAT®.
