🐾 Bobbels treat recipe: Sardine balls for cats

Ingredients

  • 1 can of sardines in water (approx. 100 g, without salt) 🐟
  • 1 egg 🥚
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour (alternatively pumpkin seed flour) 🌾
  • 1 tsp chopped SNOOZYCAT® catnip (optional) 🌿

preparation

  1. Step 1: Drain the sardines and mash them finely with a fork.
  2. Step 2: Mix with egg, flour, and catnip until smooth. Add a little more flour if needed.
  3. Step 3: Form small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Step 4: Bake at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes until firm.
  5. Step 5: Allow to cool thoroughly before serving.

Storage & Shelf Life

  • In the refrigerator: Up to 5 days in an airtight container
  • In the freezer: Freeze in small portions – lasts up to 3 months
  • Tip: Thaw or bring to room temperature before serving
