Chicken Heart Crunchies

🐾 Bobbel's treat recipe: Chicken Heart Crunchies

Ingredients

  • 100 g chicken hearts (unseasoned, pureed or finely chopped) 🍗
  • 1 egg 🥚
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour or ground flaxseeds 🌾
  • 1 tsp SNOOZYCAT® catnip (optional) 🌿

preparation

  1. Step 1: Finely puree or chop the chicken hearts very finely.
  2. Step 2: Mix with egg, flour and (optional) catnip until smooth.
  3. Step 3: Roll out the dough and cut out small cookies or flatten them into balls.
  4. Step 4: Bake at 180°C for about 12 minutes until crispy.
  5. Step 5: Allow to cool completely.

Storage & Shelf Life

  • In the refrigerator: Keep airtight for up to 1 week
  • In the freezer: Up to 3 months

💡 Additional tips

  • Variation: Also delicious with minced beef, salmon or liver
  • Extra crunch: Bake at 100 °C for 10 minutes
