🐾 Option 1: Without flour (grain-free)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken (finely pureed or very finely chopped) 🍗
  • ½ cup grated cheese (e.g. Cheddar or Gouda, without salt) 🧀
  • 1 egg 🥚
  • 2 tbsp carrots (finely grated) or pumpkin (pureed) 🥕🎃

preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175 °C and line the baking tray with baking paper
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  3. Knead the dough and form small balls or plates
  4. Bake for 15–20 minutes until light golden brown
  5. Allow to cool well before serving

Storage & Shelf Life

  • Refrigerator: Up to 5 days
  • Freezer: Up to 3 months
  • Tip: Always bring to room temperature

🐾 Version 2: With flour (classic)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken (finely pureed or chopped) 🍗
  • 1 cup oat flour or whole wheat flour 🌾
  • ½ cup grated cheese 🧀
  • 1 egg 🥚
  • 2 tbsp water or unseasoned chicken broth (optional) 💧

preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175 °C & prepare baking tray
  2. Mix all ingredients, if necessary add some water/broth for better binding
  3. Form small balls or cut pieces
  4. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown
  5. Let it cool down & enjoy

Storage & Shelf Life

  • Refrigerator: Up to 5–7 days
  • Freezer: Up to 3 months
  • Tip: Always bring to room temperature first
